How to dry your quilt. |
You can dry our quilts in the dryer. But if it is an old one I would Line dry
it. If you line dry your quilt, hang with lining side out or place a
sheet over it (to protect quilt from sun exposure) and while still
damp your quilt can be fluffed in the dryer to reduce wrinkles. Also
if you have space for it outside then lay the quilt on the grass and
dry there. Place a sheet under it so you don't get any dirt on it. And
again also place a sheet over it. For sun protection.

How to remove blood stains from your quilt. |
Hydrogen peroxide will remove blood stains, I
know that it works on new fabrics placing it right on the stain . You
might try it in a 50/50 solution with water. I am just not sure how it
would do on an old quilt. I would try a soaking solution of one part
hydrogen peroxide or cloudy ammonia to 8 parts water and let soak for a
few hours, then hand rinse and hand wash with a little mild detergent.
